Our goal was to make a jacket that with the right layering system can be worn in almost any season and hunting conditions of the year. We achieved this high versatility with the Pirscher Gear Allseason Jacket. 

The Pirscher Gear camo pattern OPTIMAX 2S was exclusively developed in collaboration with the taiwanese pattern specialists at Tecl-wood. The color scheme is fine-tuned for the central european vegetation and perfectly blends into forests, fields and the sub alpine regions of central europe.

The camo pattern consists of blend of macro- and microelements to conceal at any given distance. The microelements perfectly break the contours in short distances while the macro elements disguise the sillhouette in longe range scenarios. Our OPTIMAX 2S pattern features a strong contrast between light and dark patches to work in low light situations like dusk and dawn. This makes OPTIMAX 2S camo pattern the ideal pattern for most hunting scenarios.

3-Layer Construction made of outer, mid & inner layer:

The jacket is constructed of a three layer material. It is a lightweight jacket with a breathable waterproof membrane on the outside and an insulating waffle grid fleece on the inside.

Outer Layer – ADDVENTEX 5.8 Membrane
The outer layer consists of a waterproof and highly breathable Addventex 5.8 membrane. We choose this type of membrane for its good mix of protection from the elements, breathability, weight and quietness. Its water column of 5.000mm is strong enough to withstand a moderate amount of rain, but still 100% windproof, breathable and silent enough to hunt and stalk.

Mid-Layer – Stretch fabric
The mid layer consists of a stretchy polyester fabric which maximizes the freedom of movement. The jacket features two types of stretch fabric. We used a more flexible material in the high movement areas. The exposed areas of the jacket feature a sturdier material.

Inner-Layer – Waffle Grid Fleece
The core layer of the jacket features a waffle grid fleece for great insulation and breathability. The waffle structure of the fleece creates small canals which trap air and also help to move moisture away from the body.

The 3-layer construction of the Pirscher Gear Allseason jacket builds the foundation for an effective layering system. Combined with the right base layers and warm insulated mid layers, the jacket can be worn in almost any season of the year and in most hunting situations.

Technical features of the Pirscher Gear Allseason jacket

To maximize the protection from the elements the jacket features taped seams and waterproof zippers. For further protection from the elements the jacket has a prolonged back.

For maximum air ventilation we added ventilation zippers underneath the arm pits. There is no quicker and more efficiant way for reacting to overheating than opening your jacket.

The jacket has a athletic fit and and a completely adjustable hood. The sleeves of the jacket are adjustable with a velcro strap. The waist of the jacket is also adjustable.

The jacket has a total of five pockets with waterproof zippers. On the outside the jacket are two chest pockets with audio outlets and two side pockets. On the inside the jacket is another chest pocket.
