Developed according to the core philosophy of Sitka Gear, the jacket is as light and thin as possible, but at the same time extremely good insulated. It is fast-drying and stores body heat particularly well thanks to Primaloft. As the jacket has no membrane, it is relatively quiet and is therefore well suited for hunting, but also for stalking.

The Sitka Gear Ambient (Optifade Subalpine) hunting jacket can be worn as a main jacket in the transitional season. However, the jacket unfolds its full potential as a warming insulation mid-layer under a windproof jacket such as the Sitka Gear Jetstream.

Due to its small pack size, the jacket can also be easily stowed in a rucksack and is ready for a cold snap. The lining of the Sitka Gear Ambient (Optifade Subalpine) hunting jacket is particularly soft and, in combination with Primaloft, ensures optimum warmth.

The two side pockets and the zipped chest pocket zipped pocket provide a firm and secure place for hunting accessories. The stretchy sleeve cuffs and the individually adjustable hem with elastic ensure optimum wearing comfort.

Optifade Subalpine Camo ensures that the jacket is perfectly camouflaged in woodland and green surroundings, as it breaks up the hunter’s silhouette and visually blends in with the surroundings.
